  Raised in Galivants Ferry, South Carolina, Trey attended the University of South Carolina Honors College before making Columbia his home.  He started DJ Trey Entertainment in 2017 after a few years of working at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC,,. applying his knowledge of music history to develop setlists that appeal to crowds of a variety of ages and tastes, and which serve as the template for the company's DJ services  He completed his master's degree in public history in 2022 while hosting weekly karaoke nights and DJing weddings.  In his free time, he plays shows with his folk band and produces music for local artists.

Originally from the Charleston area, Preston is an alumnus of the University of South Carolina Honors College, where he studied accounting and Russian.  He has been with DJ Trey Entertainment since 2020, DJing weddings and hosting weekly karaoke events.  As a DJ, he excels at creating mixes that appeal to crowds with a variety of tastes, moving seamlessly from the classic R&B, rock, soul,, funk, and pop of the 60s, 70s and 80s to modern pop and hip-hop to keep everyone on the dance floor.  When he's not DJing, he enjoys playing bass in local bands, maintaining his fluency in Russian, and gaming online.

Viet, our Charleston DJ, spent time earning a degree in Psychology at the University of South Carolina and living in Washington and California before returning home.  He's been with DJ Trey Entertainment since 2021, hyping crowds with his unique mix of hip-hop and pop tied together with tasteful flourishes of EDM.  He's developed the perfect 80s playlist, and his warm personality, laid back style, and attention to detail have made him a client favorite.  When he's not on the 1s and 2s, you can catch him hiking, kayaking, or at the nearest EDM festival.

Based in Orangeburg, Ashton spent years refining his music production skills before bringing his talents to the DJ Trey Entertainment team.  While his weekly karaoke and club gigs keep him up to date on modern pop and hip-hop, his deep knowledge of classic country and R&B allow him to adapt his mixes to suit a variety of crowds.  As a DJ, he likes working Latin pop and Reggaeton hits into his mixes when he can, and he pays close attention to the keys of songs when he's making mixing decisions.  He can often be found at karaoke events, either as the host or as an attendee, and also enjoys festivals, photography, videography and gaming.

A gifted singer with years of experience in the studio and on the stage, Senquan brings his talents as an artist and entertainer to the DJ Trey Entertainment team.  He's well-versed in pop, hip-hop and R&B, and loves to hype up the crowd with the perfect rap or pop track, but he isn't afraid to mix it up with a well-timed rock or funk throwback to keep the crowd on their toes (and on the dance floor).  Clients love his engaging personality and the way his sets honor their specific musical tastes while including enough diversity to keep guests of various preferences happy and dancing.  When he isn't DJing or writing songs, he enjoys reading, flag football, playing guitar, working out, and attending festivals.

A graduate of Winthrop University living in the Charlotte area, Jay's experience in software development and electric vehicle repair have turned out to be remarkably salient in his development as a DJ, translating particularly well to the more technical aspects of the business and making him an asset to the DJ Trey Entertainment team.  While Jay knows enough about the hits of various eras to give the people what they want and keep musically diverse crowds moving, his interest in a wide variety of underground music finds him particularly at home curating vibes in environments that are more open to indie pop and experimentation.  When he's not crafting immaculate mixes, you can find him attending shows and festivals, building batteries, gaming, or playing piano in local bands.
